Betty Jean Lellig, 80, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Dave’s Place in Keokuk of natural causes. She was born July 24, 1934 in Ithica, Michigan the daughter of Goshen and Lucille (Tickner) Ady. She married Harold Lellig on August 4, 1960 in Kansas City, MO; they were later divorced.

She worked as a CNA at Parkview Gardens in Waterloo for many years.

Survived by: two daughters, Kathy Evans of Bonner Springs, KS, Mary Cain of Waterloo; two sons, Mark (Margaret) Lellig and Dave (Jennifer Newton) Lellig all of Davenport and six grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her parents; one son, Frank Lellig and a brother, John Ady.
