Barbara Peiffer, 77, of Rosewood Estate of Friendship Village, died at Rosewood Estate on Monday, August 19, 2013.

Barb was born April 28, 1936, in Moorhead, Minnesota, daughter of John and Lila Harstad Euren. She married Kenneth Peiffer August 3, 1954 in Harper, Iowa. He died July 9, 2012.

Barb was a homemaker. She volunteered for many years at ManorCare Health Services (Americana Heath Care) and at Harmony House. She enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening, baking, refinishing furniture, her pet dogs, and traveling with Ken… but her true love and devotion were to her family.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Reisinger and her husband Jim of Mason City; son Dana and his wife Kathy of Reinbeck; daughter Holly Grandin and her husband John of State Center, Iowa; seven grandchildren: Scott (Monica) Reisinger, John (Brandy) Reisinger, Kelly (Jon) Moeller, Corey Hofius, Christopher Peiffer, Robert (Laura) Grandin, and Lynnae (Kyle) Penney; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ken, and brother John Euren.
