Angela M. Stimson (Voshell), 63, of Waterloo, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born April 17, 1963, in Waterloo, daughter of Donald L. and Yvonne “Vonnie” Brubaker Hendershot. Angela graduated from Waterloo Central High School in 1982. She earned Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate from Hawkeye Tech.

Angela married Wayne E. Voshell on May 13, 1987, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2017. She later married James “Jim” Stimson on June 4, 2026.

She was employed by Parkview Gardens Care Center and then by Goodwill Industries at the Ansborough Ave. store. She also delivered the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier paper beginning in 1989 for many years. At one time, she was delivering over 100 papers in a day. Angie was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan.

Angela is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Stimson; mother, Yvonne “Vonnie” Hendershot; sister, Jaqie (Doug) Yarrington’ all of Waterloo; brother, Stephen (Vicki) Hendershot of Cedar Falls; Jim’s children, Robert (Julie) Stimson of Wichita, KS, Michael Stimson of Fredericksburg, and Connie-Jean Stimson of Oelwein; many nieces and nephews; and her cat, Autumn.

She is preceded in death by her father and first husband, Wayne Voshell.

Funeral Services: 10:30 AM Friday, June 19, 2026 at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Locke at Tower Park, Waterloo

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Bend Humane Society.
