Aimee Marie Bowers

Aimee Marie Bowers, 31, of Denver, IA had her life cut short in a traffic accident Monday, May 22, 2023, in Waterloo. She was born in Waterloo on September 6, 1991, the daughter of Teresa Bowers and David Wyborney. Aimee graduated from Waterloo East High School in 2009 and was the loving mother of three children.

Aimee had a vibrant personality who was not afraid to speak her mind. She didn't take life too seriously and was adept at overcoming any adversity that might come her way. To say she loved her children would be an understatement. They were her life, and she was focused on raising them as a single mother. Aimee especially enjoyed family gatherings and being with her many friends and was the life of the party. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

Aimee is survived by her children, Bryce Bowers, and Danica and Jayten Dorn, all of Denver; mother Teresa (David) Ames of Evansdale; father David Wyborney of Hanover, PA; step-mother Linda Wyborney of Wilkes-Barre, PA; her fiancé Keshawn Outlaw of Waterloo; half-brother Carson Wyborney of Saint Marys, WV; stepbrothers Michael Ames of Waterloo and David A. Ames of Oelwein; grandparents Cathy and Bruce Bowers of Waterloo and Koyla Wyborney of Forsyth, IL; aunts Tina (Doug) Bowers-Hoeppner of Evansdale, Jennifer (Scott) Gill of LeClaire, IA, Julie (Ntaka) Triimar and Jody (Matt) Birmingham, both of Forsyth, IL; uncles Travis Bowers of Waterloo and Daniel Wyborney of Nashua, NH; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jeffery Wyborney; her maternal great-grandparents, Delman and Ruth Bowers and Everett and Barb Mulholland; paternal great-grandfather Harold Schriever; and great-aunt Sandra Joens.

Services are 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Locke on 4th, 1519 West 4th St., Waterloo.

Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the funeral home.

Memorials should be directed to the family.
