Adam Lewis Kramer, age 45, of Waterloo, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at his home.

Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Raymond. Locke at Tower Park is assisting with arrangements.

He was born November 5, 1980, in Waterloo, the son of Timothy John and Diane Marie (Koch) Kramer. Adam graduated from Waterloo Columbus High School with the Class of 1999 and attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.

Adam worked for Hy-Vee Stores at Crossroads and Byron Avenue in Waterloo for several years and formerly worked for CBE Group.

He enjoyed a good cup of coffee, spending time with his friends, especially playing board games together. He was an accomplished crocheting hobbyist and enjoyed watching good movies. Adam had a deep and abiding love for the cats he had as pets over the years. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his uncles and aunts, Greg and Ginny Koch of Ames, IA; Dan and Beth Koch of Waterloo; Angela and Rick Breuer of Waterloo; Jim and Holly Koch of Evansdale; Mike and Becky Kramer of Waukon, IA; Paul and Robyn Kramer, missionaries in Thailand; Mark Kramer of Farmington, MN, and Bill and Justine Judd of Independence, IA; numerous cousins and many lifelong friends from his youth.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane, in 2011; his father, Timothy, in 2019; his grandparents, Andy and Velma Koch and John and Rozella Kramer; and an aunt, Mary Ann Judd.
