Vicky Lynn Northey

Vicky L. Northey (formerly Vicky Lau), of Evansdale, Iowa, died July 27, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota following a lengthy illness.

She was born May 13, 1957, the daughter of Lyle and Bernice (Ratchford) Lau, in Waterloo. She graduated from Central High School in 1975.

She married Jeffrey D. Northey in 1978. They were later divorced. She was the mother of two and a stay-at-home mom. Vicky spent the last 18 years happily with her soulmate, Les Jensen.

Vicky is survived by her children: Matthew N. Northey and Misty (Brian) Thompson and grandson Sawyer Thompson; soulmate Leslie Jensen of Evansdale, his two children: Ben Jensen, Hillary (Clyde) Jensen and grandkids JaNya, Alivia, Shyne, and Cly’Sean; two sisters: Linda (Ron) Dessinger and Cindy (Dan) Gleason, niece Tiffany (Mike) Randall and their children Parker and Brady, nephews Steve Dessinger and Chad (Tosha) Gleason and their children Chadreon, Tania, Tavajah and also Vicky’s kitties Ellie and Eve.

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents and her dog Dillon.
