Shirley Ann Brandt

Shirley A. Brandt, 93, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Quincy, IL, passed away under hospice care on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Shirley was born on December 23, 1932, in Quincy, IL, to Harold C. and Ethel M. (Falls) Gustison. Shirley married Eugene Belker on August 10, 1950; they later divorced. Later in life, Shirley went on to marry Leland F. Brandt at Grace Lutheran Church on November 27, 1999; he preceded her in death on September 11, 2001.

Shirley was a dedicated wife and mother who spent her time in the home. In her downtime, Shirley loved to knit, crochet, and cheer on her beloved Chicago Cubbies. She previously attended Cedar Valley Church

She is also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Richard Gustison, nephew, Randy Rausch, and brother-in-law, Robert Rausch.

Shirley is survived by her children, Diana (Bill) Erickson of Quincy, IL and Daniel (Debbie) Belker of York, PA; grandchildren, Kim, Kris, Pam, Jason, Tiffany Jacki, and CJ; 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Mary Rausch of Cedar Falls; niece, Laura (Karl) Albensoeder of Chicago; nephew, John (Robbyn) Rausch of Waterloo; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Funeral Service: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Locke on 4th, 1519 West 4th St, Waterloo. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Garden of Memories Cemetery-Waterloo.
