Sherry Bea Farrell

Sherry Bea Farrell, (AGE), of Hudson, passed away on (DATE) at (PLACE).

Sherry was born on January 15, 1949, in Mason City, to Burrell and Clara Belle (Stevens) Raymond. She grew up on the family farm in Floyd and graduated from Charles City High School in 1967. Sherry married Jerry G. Farrell on August 12, 1967, in Charles City.

Prior to starting a family, when Jerry was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, Sherry worked in various capacities in a Civil Service Job on base. Sherry’s most rewarding and fulfilling job began in 1975 when she became a mother as she relished the fact that she got to spend 12 years at home raising her boys. After her boys were out of the house, she worked as a Secretary for various companies.

Sherry was the consummate sporting mom and grandma, never missing a match or event. She cherished her time spent with her family, especially her grandkids. She and Jerry enjoyed taking trips to Laughlin, NV, traveling to volunteer and support their son Steven’s wrestling events he would host, and loved planting flowers, and all things Elvis. Sherry was a former member of Nazareth Lutheran Church and attend Country Vineyard Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Russell G. Raymond, and son, Rodney G. Farrell.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Jerry Farrell of Hudson; sons, Jim (Brandy) Farrell of Denver, IA, and Steve (Lexie) Farrell of Dike; grandchildren, Donovan, Valerie, and Jeremiah Farrell; brother, James (Judie) of Dike; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation and Funeral Service: Family will receive friends from (TIME) to (TIME) on (DATE) at Locke at Tower, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo. Funeral Service to follow at (TIME).

Private Family inurnment to take place at Fairview Cemetery-Cedar Falls.
