Sharon Kay Apfel

Sharon Kay Apfel, 85, died Friday, April 11, 2025, at UnityPoint Allen Hospital. She was born October 6, 1939, daughter of Jesse Faulkner Watkins. She married Duane Apfel July 15, 1961. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1994. Sharon worked at Waterloo Industries, retiring after 23 years.

Sharon is survived by her two sons, Rocky and Monte Apfel, both of Waterloo. Private burial will take place at Garden of Memories. Condolences may be left at www.LockeFuneralServices.com
