Ruby Alta Herman

Ruby A. Herman, 84 of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 21, 2020 at MercyOne Waterloo.

She was born in Waterloo on May 9, 1936, the daughter of Ralph and Flossie (Howard) Parker.

Ruby married Norval M. Baker; he preceded her in death in 1990. She married Richard E. Herman on August 26, 1994 in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on July 12, 2012.

She was a homemaker. She loved animals and being outdoors.

Ruby was a former member of the Church of Christ.

Survived by two sons, Wayde Baker of Kennewick, WA and Steven (Wilma) Baker of Cottage Grove, OR; two step-daughters, Debra Tompkins of Waterloo and Rose (Jerry) Rasmussen of Bakersfield, CA; two step-sons, Rick Herman of Waterloo and Dick (Kathy) Herman of Huxley; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
