Neva Mae Kerr, 99, of Waterloo, died on Friday, January 28, 2022, at NewAldaya Lifescapes at Cedar Falls.

Neva was born on May 7, 1922 in Marshalltown, Iowa the daughter of Hugh Chester and Vinnie Garton Graves. She graduated from Melbourne High School and attended Thompson Beauty School in Des Moines.

Neva married John F. Kerr on August 12, 1942, in Hollywood, CA. He died July 12, 1999.

Neva was a member of Member of First Presbyterian Church in Waterloo. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Girl Scout Leader, and a member of the red hat club. Neva enjoyed sewing, painting, reading, and going on R.V. trips with John. She enjoyed canning vegetables and making jams and jellies were her favorites.

Neva is survived by 6 daughters: Keitha Anderson of Waco, TX, Vinnie (Charles) Payne of Waterloo, Susan (Greg) Nielsen of Waterloo, Ellen (Ron) Gann of La Crosse, WI, Debbie (Bill) Campbell of Waterloo, and Naomi (Brian) Conrad of Granger.

Neva is also survived by grandchildren: Jason Anderson, Kendra Anderson, Christopher Payne, Corbin Payne, Bryce Nielsen, Hillary Anniss, Brandon Gann, Ryan Gann, Kelly Allsup, John Campbell, Alex Conrad, Braydon Conrad, and Aubrey Slayton; and great grandchildren: Gavin Nielsen; Claire and Eli Anniss; Zoe Zadnik; Carrie Wells; Carli and Candace Payne; Caylee and Abby Payne; Cameron and Rylie Allsup; July and Meadow Slayton; James, Nicholas, Rebecca, and Noah Gann; Evie, Theodore, and Pippa Gann; and great great grandchildren Lincoln Gann; and Carter, Chole, and Aiden Wells.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law Ron Anderson; brothers Austin, Francis, Marion, and Neil Graves, and a sister Charlotte Falsom.

Services: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, 505 Franklin St. in Waterloo, with visitation for an hour before services. Burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery

Memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice.
