Michelle Renee Sherwood

Michelle Renee Sherwood, 57, of Evansdale, Iowa, died on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.

Michelle was born July 30, 1963, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Eugene and Betty Dalton Bentley. She graduated from Clarksville High School in 1981.

She married Christopher Lee Sherwood on November 28, 1981, in Waterloo; he died on March 17, 1990. Michelle enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved going to Bingo and listening to country music.

Michelle is survived by her daughter, Crystal Sherwood (fiancé Charles Jr.); grandchildren, Hunter, Charles III, and Bryleigh; brother, Mark Bentley; her stepmother, Faith Niedert; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
