Mary Jean Colton

Mary Jean Colton, 70, of Waterloo, formerly of Cedar Falls, died at Pillar of Cedar Valley on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

She was born March 5, 1949, in Manchester, daughter of Don A. and Bernadine H. Burgett Colton.

She attended Lowell Elementary in Waterloo and graduated from River Hills School in Cedar Falls. Mary Jean retired after working several years in retail for Goodwill Industries. She enjoyed watching her TV programs, collecting souvenir spoons and Elvis memorabilia.

Mary Jean is survived by her brother, Paul (Marjorie) Colton, Cedar Falls, IA; nephew, Don (Stephanie) Colton, Waterloo; nephew: Ron (Jen) Colton, Waterloo; great nephew, Samuel Colton, Waterloo; great niece, Abby Colton, Waterloo; and special pets, Rusty and Chewie.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
