Mark John Nagel

Mark J. Nagel, 67, of Waterloo, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

He was born May 28, 1957 in Waterloo, the son of Curtis and Darlene (Turner) Nagel. He graduated from Waterloo Central High School in 1976. He married Lynn Siemens.

Mark worked as a sales representative for Food Services of America, Hawkeye Foods, and later as a sales advisor for Martin Brothers.

Mark was a selfless man, putting the needs of loved ones before his own. Mark was always happy to help, ready to do whatever it took to keep others well and cared for. He loved spending time with friends and family, and was an avid Harley Davidson rider.

Mark is survived by his children, Nick Nagel and Jennifer Nagel Moore (Doug), two grandchildren, and sister Lou Guetzlaff. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Karlee Nagel.
