Mac Arther Gary

Mac A. Gary, 71, of Waterloo, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

He was born January 15, 1953, in Goodman, MS, son of Roosevelt and Maggie D. Mabry Gary. Mac ran the loader and drove dump truck for many years at the Martin-Marietta Quarry. He was a member of St. Mark's Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Mac is survived by his son, Travares Gary; daughter, Takia Gary-Pruitt' both of Annason, IN; one sister, Elma Clark; and two brothers, Willie (Patricia A Lanfare-Gary) Gary, and Charles (Patricia Dantcler-Gary) Gary' all of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Charlie Marie Davison; and two brothers, Roosevelt Gary, Jr., and James Gary.

Family Directed Memorial Services: 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at St. Mark's Baptist Church, 2024 Clear View St, Waterloo with inurnment in St. Mark's Cemetery in Goodman, MS, at a later date.
