Faith LaDonna Heiser

Faith L. Heiser, 95, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, June4, 2022 at MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center.

She was born on September 11, 1926 in Waterloo, daughter of Herman and Ethel Hanner-Mixdorf. She married Jerald Heiser on October 16,1946 in Enterprise OR.; he preceded her in death on August 29, 2005.

She worked as an office manager at Waterloo Paper until her retirement in 1992.

Faith was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Waterloo. She loved to quilt though starting later in life at the age of 80 and making eight quilts since that time. Faith loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow. Often commenting how quickly they grew up.

Survivors include: two sons, Jerry (Diane) Heiser of Cedar Falls, and Paul Heiser of Hot Springs Village, AR; four grandchildren, Kelli (Steve) Folkers- Whitesell of Cedar Falls, Brian Folkers (Taylor Estenson) of Smithville, MO, Ben Heiser of Houston, TX, and John Heiser of Houston TX; and three great-grandchildren, Bryce, Brooks, and Roman.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Claude, Walt, and Henry Mixdorf; and two sisters, Jaunita Gausman, and Thelma Watson.
