Dolores Marie Koch

Dolores M. Koch, 92, of Cedar Falls, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Cedar Stone Assisted Living, under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice.

She was born on November 25, 1932, in Mercedes, TX, daughter of Harold and Merna Kibler Rock. Dolores graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1950. She married Curtis Koch on March 16, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on January 22, 2021.

Dolores was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. She enjoyed spending her time reading, watching musicals and figure skating, and listening to “Big Band” music.

Dolores is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Linda) Koch, Joel Koch, both of Waterloo; Lynne (Pete) Clark of Paducah, KY, Lucy (Ed) Milliken of Corvallis, OR, and Sarah Koch of Waterloo; 12 grandchildren, Ruby, Caitlyn, Eric, Justin, Aaron, Seth, Colin, Kyle, Megan, Kailey, Tyra, and Cooper; nine great- grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Koch; a great- granddaughter; and brother, Gene Rock.

Family directed Memorial Services to be held at a later date. Burial to take place in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice. Locke at Tower Park is assisting the family, 319-233-3146.
