Allen Blaine Dunegan

Allen B. Dunegan, 55, of Evansdale, IA, died on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo, IA., following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 10, 1969, in Kenosha, WI, son of David and Brenda Dunegan. He attended East High School.

Allen married Kelly M. Petersen, July 9, 1988, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo. They were blessed with two beloved sons, Jordan and Kidd.

Allen had a larger-than-life personality, always becoming the life of the party. He had an unwavering faith in God which he shared with all knew him or anyone he happened to meet. He will be deeply missed, living on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!

Allen is survived by wife, Kelly Dunegan, Evansdale, IA; Two sons: Jordan Dunegan and his wife Brittany Rivers of Cedar Falls and Kidd Dunegan of Evansdale. His mother, Brenda Dunegan of Evansdale; Mother-in-law Vickie Day of Waterloo and his beloved dog, Mac.

Allen is preceded in death by his father, David Dunegan. His Father-in-Law Doug Petersen. His grandparents, Reuben and Eleanor Frazer, Mac and Mary Dunegan.

Graveside Services will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
