Robert W. Garrison, 91, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Nov. 5, at his home of natural causes.

He was born July 29, 1914, in Oelwein, son of Fred W. and Emily M. Baker Garrison. He married Thelma Dennis on Sept. 3, 1939, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

Mr. Garrison attended Cedar Falls High School and worked as a Sears customer service manager for nine years. He then owned and operated Garrison TV and Appliance for 25 years from 1954 until retiring in 1979. He was also past chairman of Waterloo-Cedar Falls SCORE chapter.

Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Nancy (Robert) Kennedy of Webster City and Susan (Wayne) Wilson of Washburn; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a son, Robert, and a son in infancy; two grandchildren; two brothers, Paul and Donald Garrison; and four sisters, Ruth Fox, Zelpha Ritchie, Dorothy Bates and an infant sister.
