I so enjoyed working at the GBPAC with Sondra. She was a joy to know. May memories bring you comfort and may God grant you peace in the coming days. With deepest sympathy
Sondra was a wonderful needleworker and teacher. She taught me so much about Canvas work. She was also just a very nice person and I always enjoyed visiting with her. You have my deepest sympathy.
Jeff and Karen, we are sorry your Mom is gone, but hope that she’s enjoying her time now with Dave and hopefully Connie & Linda!
Thinking of your family. I’m grateful for the kindness and memories that Sondra and your family has shown me. She will be missed. Sending prayers and love.
Jeff and Karen, Although Sondra and my husband, Ric, were in the same high school class, I knew Sondra primarily through my friendship with Connie, Linda, and Jan. To me, she was the epitome of an outstanding Iowa State grad, an expert in her field of needlework and anything else she pursued. What endeared her to me was her generosity in sharing her knowledge with others from 4-Hers to struggling needlepoints like me. She will be missed.
Jeff & Karen, I’m very sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of your mother from my youth, especially from our days spent together with your family and others at Lake of the Ozarks. Sondra was quick to laugh and smile, and wouldn’t take herself or us so seriously that we couldn’t have fun together. I wish you peace in the days ahead. P.S.: I have made a contribution to the Macular Degeneration Association in Sondra’s honor.
Sondra shared her knowledge of needlework as a member of Prairie Rose Chapter.
She was a lovely person and will be missed.
