With heavy hearts, a cold Pepsi in one hand and potato chips in the other, we announce that Vivian Jeanette (Radcliff) Johnson, 84, of Jesup, has been reunited in heaven with the love of her life Roy M. Johnson.

Vivian, also known as Jean, was born on April 20, 1941, in Cresco. She married Roy on February 28, 1959. Roy and Jean went on to raise three girls Penny, Patricia, and Peggy.

Throughout her life, Jean loved music, dancing, playing cards, bowling, and her dog, Kobe. Jean had an artistic side to her, refurbishing old furniture. Nothing made her happier than lounging in the sun, preferably on the beach.

She will be greatly missed and remembered as the sassy, stubborn, loving, firecracker that she was. We know she is dancing in the sky with Roy and Kobe by their side.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Dwella; husband, Roy; and siblings, Robert, Alice, and Dean.

Jean is survived by her three girls; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a brother, Glen.

“I got my toes in the water, ass in the sand. Not a worry in the world, a cold drink in my hand. Life is good today.”
