Sean E. Anderson, 58, of Sandwich, Massachusetts, died Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his home.

He was born March 15, 1967, in Waterloo, Iowa, son of Theodore and Barbara Anderson. He married Karen Fein on December 12, 1998, at Lake George, New York.

Sean graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1985. He received his BA from the University of Northern Iowa in 1989 and his master’s degree in criminal justice from the State University of New York at Albany. He has been employed as an investigator of abuse with protective services.

Sean is survived by his wife, Karen Fein of Sandwich; his parents, Theodore and Barbara of Waterloo; a sister, Tamara Nelson of Cedar Falls; a niece, Ashley (Justin) Heredia of Waterloo and a nephew, Keith Nelson of Cedar Falls. He’s preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Arlene Callies and Manford and Liola Anderson and uncles, David Callies and Paul Balvanz.

No services in Iowa are being planned.
