Rinehart George Kimball

Rinehart Kimball, 90, of Waterloo, died on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at NorthCrest Specialty Care in Waterloo. He was born on February 14, 1934, in Readlyn, the son of Oscar and Martha (Meyerhoff) Kimball. He graduated from Readlyn High School in 1954.

Rinehart married Nancy Lee Bell February 22, 1959, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Waterloo. She preceded him in death January 25, 2016.

He farmed in Black Hawk, Bremer, and Buchanan Counties over the years.

Rinehart was a member of Raymond United Methodist Church and most recently attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Waterloo.

He is survived by his brother, Verlen (Barb) Kimball of Euless, TX; and niece, Mary (Ray) Heinrich of Clarkston, MI; and several other nieces and nephews.

Rinehart was preceded in death by his parents and wife; sisters, Malene Kallenbach and Margaret Knief; and brothers, Victor and Adolph Kimball.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave., with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, both in Waterloo.
