Nickolina “Nicki” Clark 85, of Marion, formerly of La Porte City died Saturday August 30, 2014 at Village Ridge Assisted Living in Marion.

Nicki was born February 3, 1929 in Coleman, Michigan the daughter of Henry and Norine (Murphy) Burch. She married Herb Clark on May 15, 1948 in Pontiac, Michigan. Nicki had worked for La Porte City Veterinarian Borge Jessen, and belonged to St. Ann’s Rosary at Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing Scrabble and cards, biking and spending time with grandchildren.

Nicki is survived by her husband Herb of Marion; 1 son Tim (Denise) Clark of Johnston; 1 daughter Pamela Clark of Coggon; 6 grandchildren Matthew (Rachel) Clark, Emily Clark, Robert (Ruth) Hojka, Eric Hojka, Laura (Andrew) Wenger-Rommann, Lisa (Roy) Foster; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 Brother Michael Burch of Houston, Texas; 3 sisters Agnes Richer of Pontiac, Michigan; Elizabeth Galatis of Plantation, Florida and Patricia Keesling of Pontiac, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 infant son; 6 brothers Jesse, Danny, John “Jack”, Donald, William, and Charles Burch, 4 sisters Pamela in infancy, Catheryn Villeneuve, Evelyn Yarber, Dorothy McMahon-Galatis.
