Jerry K. Potter, 66, of Dubuque, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, July 17, at Dubuque Nursing & Rehab.

He was born June 2, 1947, in Waterloo, son of Hubert I. and Leola L. Forsyth Potter. He married Nancy Neild on June 10, 1978, in Waterloo, and they later divorced.

Mr. Potter was employed by Ron Dold and Sons Landscaping in Waterloo and the City of Waterloo Sewer Department, retiring in 1978 after becoming disabled, moving to Dubuque in 2003.

Survived by: two sons, Matthew Potter of Waterloo and Craig (Angie) Neild of Marion; four grandchildren; two brothers, Daryl (Sharon) of Waterloo and Gary (Carolyn) of Arlington, Texas; and a sister, Janet (Bill) Russell of Dubuque.

Preceded in death by: his parents; and a son, Eric K. Potter.
