Roosevelt Kuykendall, 57, of Waterloo died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at his home of natural causes. He was born May 9, 1956 in Batesville, MS the son of S.B. and Frances Coleman Kuykendall.

He attended school in Marks, MS. He worked at IBP for 10 years, and then in Construction for Rabbit Construction and Pauline and Company for over 20 years. He married Sandy Cole on February 4, 1994 in Waterloo.

Survived by: his wife, Sandy of Waterloo; his mother, Francis McFerson of Marks, MS; three daughters, Tonyanekia (Billy) Love of MS, Renee and Tia Cole of Waterloo; three sons, Orintheo and William Campbell of Waterloo, Justin Cole of Terra Haute, IN; three brothers, Michael (Norris) Coleman of Chicago, Charles Kuykendall of Marks, MS and a special brother and sister-in-law, Sylvester (Shirley) Kuykendall of Batesville, MS; six sisters, Cindy Kuykendall of Clarksdale, MS, Sheveta (John) Kuykendall of Tunica, MS, Lakimuyn Twiggle of Marks, MS, Leola (Johnathan) Harkless of CA, Linda Jones of Batesville, MS, a special sister, Mae Francis (Kenneth) Glasper of Waterloo; a step sister, Annie Riley of Batesville, MS; a step brother, Leon Riley of Batesville, MS; 40 grandchildren, two special granddaughters Shantae and Iesha Campbell who he raised from birth; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by: his father, S.B. Kuykendall; a brother, Steven Kuykendall; one grandson, Dae’Quan “Bubba” Campbell and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He will be greatly missed by all the people in his life that he has touched.
