Passed to her forever home on Wed, November 12th, 2014 in the evening surrounded by her “people” as she would say.

Eva was born December 17th, 1913 in Burdette Iowa, the youngest child of 7 and lived with her beloved mama until her death Sept. 1975. She thought of her mother daily and her mother came to call her home the last week of her life along with her great grand daughter Darcie Decker and her life long friend Marie Hoover. We are grateful God has eased her along her journey.

Grandma married Harry August Neipert Sept 19th 1934 and he left this world August 23rd, 1976. They had 3 children, Carrol, Harry Jr. and Wayne Neipert.

Grandma has loved and cared for six generations of her “people” and friends too numerous to mention! That is the heart of Eva to care for and love people. She is the embodiment of God’s command to love your neighbor. She was a faithful friend. She loved games of all kinds, reading, handwork, and made many beautiful gifts for all of us to treasure. Grandma was a seamstress and was always good with her hands. She worked very hard in life to serve others. She gave to each generation a part of herself and has impacted us all greatly with her life and death.

Dear Grandma, you leave a gaping hole in our family that no one will ever fill, we all love you so much! Good night Cordell, see you soon – “God willing”.
