Caden Paxton DeVries, 3 1/2 month old son of Maurice “Scott” and Dana Leann Hanson DeVries, died at home Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014.

He was born May 12, 2014, in Waterloo.

Survived by his parents of Waterloo; a brother, Gavin of Waterloo; his maternal grandmother, Cathy Hanson of Fortuna, N.D.; and his paternal grandparents, Charles DeVries of Cambria, Calif., and Linda Linse of Des Plaines, Ill.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Hanson.
