Helen Mae Wolf

Helen M. Wolf, 92, of Waterloo, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, of natural causes at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born May 9, 1927, in Waterloo, daughter of Earl I. and Mary J. Austin Vaughn.

Helen married Carroll McCrady June 12, 1949; he preceded her in death October 23, 1963. She married Dale Wolf June 21, 1980; he preceded her in death May 19, 2012.

She worked at Rath Packing for 38 years.

Helen was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church, YMCA Birthday Clubs, and she had many pen pals. She liked traveling, camping, and visiting her daughter Sally. She belonged to camping clubs with Dale, loved old country music, was in a bowling league, and very social.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Sally McCrady-Hueppchen of Waldo‚ WI; two stepdaughters, Karen Schellhorn‚ of Waterloo, and Becky Wolf of New Hampton; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a stepdaughter, Linda Seehawer; brother, Benjamin E. Vaughn; and sister, Patricia M. Jurries.
