Richard T. Frink, 66, of Janesville, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at UnityPoint Health—Allen Hospital.

He was born September 19, 1952 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina the son of Richard and Maylene Nelson Frink.

He was involved in the family business, Rainbow Florist & Greenhouse for 50 years until his retirement in 2012. In retirement he was a funeral attendant for Locke Funeral Home.

Rich was a Past Exalted Ruler of Waterloo BPOE #290; Past President of Iowa Society of Florists, and a classroom volunteer for Junior Achievement.

Rich married Jacque Harting on November 11, 1972 in Cedar Falls. They have two children and two grandsons: a daughter Nicole Jackson, her husband Steve, and sons Evan and Graham of Barrington, Illinois; and a son Tom Frink of Fort Collins, Colorado. He is also survived by his loving mother Maylene of Cedar Falls, and his brother David Frink and his wife Linda of Waterloo, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard.
