Lacey Marie Batton

Lacey Marie Batton, 22, of Waterloo, died unexpectedly on January 2, 2016. She was born November 27, 1993 in Waterloo, daughter of Loren and Debra Melohn Batton.

She attended East High School. Lacey worked in the Western Home Communities at Thalaman Square as a resident assistant.

She is survived by her parents, Loren and Debra Batton of Evansdale; two sons, Jaylyn Baugh of Waterloo and Jonathon Reed of Cedar Falls; a brother, Michael (Tori) Batton of Waverly; two sisters, Laurie (Jeramie) Wasem of Waverly and April Batton of Evansdale; maternal grandfather, Ted Melohn of Stout; and her significant other, Nick Reed of Cedar Falls.

Lacey is preceded in death by her son, Dillion Reed; brother, Brad Batton; maternal grandmother, Sharon Melohn; and paternal grandparents, Paul and Arlene Batton.
