TaMia Se’Mone Sisk, 27, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026. She was born on November 6, 1998, in Waterloo to Orlando Sisk and Antonette Mathews.

TaMia was a proud graduate of East Waterloo High School, where she played basketball, and later continued her education in college. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee at Target Distribution Center. TaMia held beautiful dreams of seeing the world and brought warmth, kindness, laughter and joy to the lives of those around her.

May her children find strength from the love she gave them, may her parents find comfort in their cherished memories, and may her siblings extended family and friends find peace and healing in the bond they share.

TaMia was a loving mother to Juliano and Ny’Ariea.

She is survived by her children, Juliano and Ny’Ariea; her parents, Antonette (Claude) Mathews and Orlando (Shaniece) Sisk all of Waterloo; siblings: Shaniya, Carmella, JaVontez, R’lando, Paris, Brittany, Darryl, and Darren all of Waterloo, Lela of South Carolina, Crystal of Alabama, and CJ of Texas ; grandmothers, Diana Sisk, Cononious Waters, and Lela Culpepper; and great-grandmother Weltha Sisk; niece Reina; and a host of aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her; Grandfather Raymond Norman Sr., Grandmother, Tawanda Jefferson; and Grandfather Thomas Gordon; God-sister Zhareisha Williams.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the family.
