Terry Arthur Floss

Terry A. Floss, 67, of Evansdale, died on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home of a sudden illness.

Terry was born on October 9, 1952 in Waterloo, son of Bernhard William and Evelyn Mathilda (Trankle) Floss.

He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1970.

He had worked at John Deere, built houses with a construction company, at the Wonder Bread Bakery, and retiring from Tyson where he worked in maintenance.

Terry married Mavis Morris in August of 1974 at the United Methodist Church of Hudson.

He was a member of the Iowa Pyrotechnic Association and the Waterloo Kennel Club. Terry enjoyed fishing, target shooting, slot car racing, and collecting comic books.

Survived by his wife, Mavis Floss of Evansdale.

Preceded in death by his parents.
