He was born September 9, 1954, in Pana, Il, son of Jesse Franklin and Delphina Irene Mitchell Moore

Garry graduated from Pana High School in 1972. He then graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College, Ankeny, IA with a Bachelor of Science in Christian ED and Pastoral counseling. Continuing his education, he graduated with his master's degree in Pastoral Ministry.

He married Christie Kay Paige on February 14, 1976, at the Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, Waterloo.

Garry served as a Pastor from 1979-2016 (IA, MN, IN, IL) Most recently, he was serving as a chaplain for Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls. He loved to serve!! Always willing to visit, pray, and share scripture to the lending year. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, and fishing.

Family Burial will precede the services at 9:30 (DAY) (DATE) at the Elmwood Cemetery-Dike, Dike

Visitation will be from 4-7 (DAY) (DATE) at Locke at Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo)
