Jeanine Ann Wise, 75, of Prairie du Chien, WI, formerly of Dunkerton, died at her home on Thursday, May 12, 2022, of natural causes. She was born February 26, 1947, in Waterloo, the daughter of Floyd and Betty Nolteriek Olds.

She was a graduate of Waterloo West High School.

She was united in marriage to Charles Back on May 20, 1967, in Waterloo; they were later divorced. She married James Wise on July 26, 1985, in Independence; he preceded her in death on July 4, 2013.

Survived by: her children, Jason (Shana Calhoun) Back of Des Moines, Kimberly (Tim) Wolf of Dunkerton, Steven Wise of Clive, and Dean (Sherrie) Wise of Columbiana, AL; ten grandchildren; a brother, Robert Olds of New Jersey; and a special friend, Bradford Good of Dike.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, James; a granddaughter; and a sister, Patricia Shafer.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Locke Garden View Chapel, 3655 Logan Ave. Waterloo, Iowa 50703 with a private family inurnment at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers: a memorials may be directed to the Jeanine Wise Memorial Fund at Veridian Credit Union.
