LaVerle M. Sniffin, 96, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the Martin Health Center of Western Home Communities.

She was born March 28, 1925, in Arlington, daughter of Richard and Lena Fliehler Oldfather.

LaVerle married Charles "Paul" Sniffin on June 1, 1943, in Wadena; he preceded her in death on March 17, 1990. She worked for Pella Products Co. in Waterloo.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Fitz of Waterloo; two sons, Michael (Jeanie) Sniffin of Coralville and Duane (Doreen) Sniffin of Cedar Falls; and 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and two sisters, Filetta Dodge and Donna Ward.

Funeral Services: 1:30 PM Monday, February 21 at Locke on 4th, 1519 W. 4th St., with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at www.LockeFuneralServices.com.
