Jennifer Anne Johnson

January 29, 1965 July 9, 2026

Jennifer “Jenny” Milne-Johnson, 61, passed away on July 9, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jenny was born on January 29, 1965, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Ronald Dean Milne and Joan Carol Cagley Knight. She graduated from West High School in Waterloo with the Class of 1983. She married Larry Johnson, they later divorced.

Jenny embraced life with a feisty spirit, a kind heart, and a love for making memories with the people she cared about most. She found her greatest joy at the beach and in the water. Whether she was relaxing along the shore, spending the day on a boat, or gathering with family and friends, she was happiest surrounded by the people she loved. She cherished the simple moments, treasured time with those closest to her, and lived life with strength, laughter, and determination.

Jenny will be remembered for her resilience, her love of the beach and the water, her adventurous spirit, and the laughter she shared so freely. Though her journey here has ended, Jenny’s spirit lives on in every wave that reaches the shore, every day spent on the water, and in the hearts of those who loved her most.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Dean Milne and Joan Carol Cagley Knight; her sister, Donna Milne; her stepmother, Zora Milne; her sister, Marie Purdy; her sister-in-law, Patti Pullin; her nephew, Timothy Pullin; and numerous other beloved family members.

Left to honor Jenny’s memory are her cherished circle of friends who were more than friends-they were her family; her brother, Larry Pullin; her niece, Krystal (Curtis) Meggers; her great-nephew, Alexander Meggers; her nieces and nephews, Amanda May, Missy Massart, Danny Purdy, Merville Purdy, and Alison Ruetten; her great-nieces and great-nephews in Wisconsin; her uncle, Ronald Schmitt; her cousins, William Wright, Steven Wright, Jeffrey Schmitt, and Jori Remington; and many other family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Family directed celebration of life will be held in August.
