Barbara Einfelt, 66, of Evansdale, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at home, under UnityPoint Hospice care. She was born January 19, 1957, in Waterloo, daughter of Edward and Joann (Hemsath) Henn. She graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1975.

Barb married Kenneth G Einfelt Jr. on April 5, 1975. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2019. Early on Barb worked at Varsity Cleaners and Cadillac Lanes. She later worked in banking until retiring.

Barb was an avid bowler. She had served on the board of the Cedar Valley Bowling Association, she was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame, and she once rolled a 300 game in the city tournament.

She was a member of Linden Avenue United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Kassandra (Jason Peterson) Einfelt of Waterloo; son, Korey Einfelt of CA; daughter-in-law Kim Einfelt of Evansdale; grandchildren: Charles Medina, Kenny Einfelt IV, Lily (Emanuelo Stojanovic) Einfelt, Korinn (Jack) Einfelt, Kendyll Einfelt, Patrick Einfelt; great-grandchildren: Indigo Medina, and Kyro Einfelt; and friend Julie Anderson of La Porte City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son Kenneth Einfelt III; and five Siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2023, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, with a visitation from 12:00 – 2:00PM at Locke at Tower Park.
