Debra "Debbie" Taylor-Jensen, 50, of Waterloo, died Friday, October 21, 2022, at home.

She was born March 31, 1972, in Waterloo, daughter of Donald and Karolyn N. Porter Taylor. She graduated from River Hills School.

Debbie participated in Special Olympics for many years. Track and swimming were her favorite events to perform. She loved to spend her time coloring and playing office.

Debbie is survived by her siblings, Denise (Ben) Rand, Doug (Kathy) Taylor' both of Waterloo, and Deanna (Brian) Davis of Washburn; nieces, Hannah Rand, Kassidy Taylor, Morgan Davis, and Megan Schleusner, and nephews, Heath Rand, Hogan Rand, Hunter Rand, Kale Taylor, and Michael Davis.

She is preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Sylvia Porter; paternal grandparents Wendell and Florence Taylor; and brother, Matthew Taylor.

Funeral Services: 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Locke Garden View Chapel, 3655 Logan Ave., with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo.

Visitation for one hour prior to the service at Locke Garden View Chapel.
