Celia Rios De Alvarado

Celia passed on April 15th, 2023, at 11:30 PM in Unity Point Health, Allen Hospital. She was born to Lorenza Penaloza and Cresenciano Rios, on February 4th, 1939, in Uruapan Michoacan Mexico.

In the 1980's she moved to the United States, to start her life of traveling and adventure with the children she could. Throughout her life of adventures, she managed to travel throughout The United States. Sightseeing was her passion. She had her unique ways of showing affection to others. This was only known to the select few she trusted. Celia was a strong, independent woman, fighting until the end.

She will be survived by her children, Donato Ramirez-Rios, Berta Ramirez-Rios, Rosalio Ramirez-Rios, Maria Trinidad Ramirez-Rios, Juan Carlos Ramirez-Rios, Maria Guadalupe Ramirez-Rios, Felipe Ramirez-Rios, Eva Maria Ramirez-Rios, Adan Ramirez-Rios.

Her final resting place will be at the Garden of Memories in Waterloo Iowa.
