Marc Richard Wilson

Marc Richard Wilson passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2023 in Waterloo, Iowa. He was born on September 24, 1966 in Pensacola, FL to Vivian (Gasper) & Kenneth Wilson Sr.

Marc is survived by his wife Valerie Wilson, father Kenneth Wilson Sr, his brother Kenneth Wilson Jr, his daughters Laura (Ryan) Sharp, Lisa (Jon) Crain, his nephew Kenneth III (Katie) Wilson, grandchildren Patrick, Sophia, Zander, and Oliver. His stepson James (Latroya) Acklin, stepdaughter Monica (Ben) Stark, and numerous step grandchildren.

Marc attended Hudson Community School. After graduating at Hudson, he enlisted in the Army until 1989. Marc had a passion for all things outdoors. He was a avid hunter and fisherman and spent a lot of his spare time hunting the greenbelt or out casting a fishing line. He enjoyed playing guitars, getting lost in the strings for hours, singing karaoke and even won some competitions. Marc was always good for a practical joke, and was full of stories to tell. There was never a dull moment around him. He will be loved and missed by many friends and family.

Marc is proceeded in death by his mother Vivian, both paternal and maternal grandparents, and grandson Travis.

At this time there will not be a service held, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
