Barbara Blin Miller

Barbara B. Miller, 74, of Waterloo, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, in Waterloo.

She was born February 23, 1952, in Creston, daughter of Forrest and Alice Mettler Miller. Barbara graduated from Creston High School in 1970. She earned her bachelor’s in history from the University of Northern Iowa in 1974. Barbara also earned her master’s in education from University of Dubuque in 1995.

Barbara married Vic Marcucci on August 3, 1993, at Voyagers National Park in Ely, MN.

She worked for AEA 7 as an in-home teacher for homebound children for 29 years, retiring in 2003. In her retirement, she was an antique dealer and owned a shop in Marquette. Barbara enjoyed spending her time making pottery and reading.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Vic Marcucci of Waterloo; and brother, Lance Miller of San Antonio, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
