Quentin Bernard Wilson, III

November 14, 2006 June 13, 2026

Quentin Bernard Wilson, III, was called home to glory on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Born to Jasmine Simeon and Quentin Wilson, Jr., on November 14, 2006, in Columbus, OH. They separated a time later. At the age of 8, Elijah Moore entered his life and lovingly helped raise him as his own son.

He enlisted in the Iowa National Guard 2024 and before high school ended he had already successfully graduated OSUT as an 11B Infantry and was serving in the elite, Charlie Co. Commandos, of the 133rd Infantry BN. Quentin graduated from Waterloo East High School in 2025. He’d began his college journey at the University of Northern Iowa, where he majored in Manufacturing Engineering Technology.

“Q” loved being with his friends and family and brought joy to everyone he was around. He was always listening to Drake and recently found the love for making his own music. He was an amazing big brother! Quentin dreamed of moving to a bigger city and starting a family. He was excited for his future and well on track to achieve those beautiful dreams!

His legacy is carried on by his parents; his siblings, Harmony Harris, Tariq Moore, Camden Ford, Tyrell March, Dey’Ani Greer, Eternity Alexander, Darius Nickelson, Jr., Saniya Wilson, Jasiah Wilson, LaShaun Wilson, and Kawai Moore-Ford; paternal great-grandmother, Melba Stowers; maternal grandparents, Lelani Lally and Dana Lally; paternal grandparents, Kathy and Henry Ford; his favorite aunt, Crystal Alves; favorite uncles, Bradley Wilson and Michael Shaw; and best friends, TeMarious Cason and Kyler Moore. He truly had an immeasurable love for so many family members, fellow soldiers, and classmates who will miss him deeply!

He was welcomed into heaven by paternal grandparents, LaDonna Wilson and Quentin Wilson, Sr; a baby brother, Sir Michael Moore-Ford; and uncles, Michael Alexander, Jr.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.

  11. Michele Clark says:

Quentin was the first person that I saw at the hospital when my son was in a motorcycle accident he waited in the ER waiting room until I got there and he walked back to Billy’s room with me. He stayed at the hospital and never left until he knew that my son was going to be ok. Very upstanding young man, he will be missed by so many. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Quentin’s family. God is holding him now and he will be the best angel watching over his family and friends. So sorry for your loss.
