Dale W. DeBerg, 79, of Cedar Falls, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 24, 2023, at New Aldaya Lifescapes, Cedar Falls. We have the blessed assurance he is now free of his Parkinsons and Dementia. Praise God.

He was born July 21, 1944, in Waterloo, son of Raymond W. and Virginia (Cunningham) DeBerg. Dale graduated from East High School in 1962. He went to work at John Deere upon graduation where he worked for over 33 years as an inspector, retiring in 1995.

Dale married the love of his life and best friend, Alberta May Fleming on June 1st, 1991, at Little Brown Church, Nashua. They were members of the Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. Together, they enjoyed getting in the car on weekends and exploring Northeast Iowa and the beauty it has to offer.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta of Cedar Falls; daughter, Tina Marie; several grandchildren; two brothers, Mark (Ann) DeBerg and Ned (Cindy) DeBerg both of Waterloo; and brother-in-law, Dennis Olejniczak of Decorah.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Barbara Henn, sister Paula Olejniciak and brother, Terrance “Terry” DeBerg.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. Family Burial will precede the services at Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. Locke at Tower Park, 319-233-3146, is assisting the family.
