Bradley “Brad” Orlando Schwab

Bradley O. "Brad" Schwab, 48 of Waterloo, died at his home on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He was born Oct. 6, 1975, in Waterloo, son of Richard L. "Dick" and Dianne E. (Thompson) Schwab. Brad attended East High School in Waterloo. He married Melissa A. Abernathey, they later divorced. Brad worked at Iowa Wall Systems for 20 plus years. He enjoyed his job as they were an extended part of his family. He loved his family, his friends, always putting them first. Fishing down by the dam in Cedar Falls was a favorite place away from home. When visiting Brad at the house, you would be sure to meet his buddy, Shadow.

Brad is survived by his son, Joe Schwab of Waterloo, his daughter, Marissa Schwab of Waterloo, and former wife, Missy Schwab of Waterloo. Aunt, Doris (Harold) Saathoff of Dike. Cousins, John (Karie Dominick) Saathoff of Cedar Falls. Emily, Jonathan, and Nathan Saathoff.

Brad is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Brian Schwab.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Locke at Tower Park.

Graveside services will be 11:30am Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
