Livia Tatiana Meany

Livia Tatíana Meany, 21, of Dumont, formerly of Waterloo, died on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at University of Iowa Hospital surrounded by her family and companion, Kurt Haas. Livia was born on November 26, 2002, in Waterloo, to Heather R. Blanck and Andrew J. Meany.

Livia graduated from Iowa Falls-Alden High School in Iowa Falls in 2021 and while in high school she enjoyed working for Princess Grill & Pizzeria. She later went on to work as a driver for Door Dash, which she loved doing.

Livia is survived by her parents, Heather (Drew) Engel of Iowa Falls and Andrew (Sarah) Meany of La Porte City; her siblings, Troy and Novalee Meany, Drew P., Bradley, Henry, and Hannah Engel; stepsisters, Mary, and Emma Jenkins; paternal grandparents, Joe and Nancy Meany of Waterloo; maternal grandparents, Keith and Sharon Johnson of Greene; maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Geneva Van Gorder of Evansdale; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. with a memorial gathering following until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo.
