Craig Allen Willard, 75, of Waterloo, formerly of Iowa City, died on May 7, 2025 of natural causes.

Craig was born April 23, 1950, in Waterloo, to Edward and Estella (Schueler) Willard. He attended West High School.

He married Rhonda Gustafson on September 26, 1969 and they later divorced.

Craig was employed by the Laborers' International Union of North America and finished out his career as a foreman at Fru-Con in Iowa City.

He was an avid Hawkeye fan and enjoyed playing cards, going to movies and dining out.

Craig is survived by his significant other, Tina Marshall; two daughters, Kelly (T.J.) Klund of Woodville, WI and Kimberly Willard of Spring Valley, WI; his son Christopher Starbuck of Iowa City; four brothers, Thomas (Vicki) Schueler of Cedar Falls, Laurence (Ruth) Schueler of Dubuque, Dell (Betty) Willard of Waterloo, and Kevin (Jan) Willard of Waterloo; two sisters, Darlene (Chuck) Beasley of Fallon, NV, and Nettie Treloar of Waterloo; seven grandchildren, Adam, Olivia, Alex, Parker, Peyton, Mason, and Aurora; and one great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers; Virgil, Robert, Duane, Vance, and Charles Willard; two sisters, Sharon Enos and Geneva Willard.

A celebration of Craig's life will be held at the VFW 3949, 609 Hollywood Blvd, Iowa City, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM
