Patricia A. "Pat" Bergstrom, 82, of Garnavillo and formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at home.

She was born June 24, 1940, in Waterloo, the daughter of Russell and Laurene (Converse) Bergstrom.

Pat graduated from Sloan Wallace High School with the class of 1959.

She worked in administration for the Iowa State Teacher's College/University of Northern Iowa for 40 years.

While in Waterloo, she had attended Hagerman Baptist Church. Pat loved the outdoors which began early in her life. She would often go hunting with her dad. She especially loved to fish and accumulated an abundance of fishing gear over the years.

Survived by two sisters, Beverly (Larry) Moser and Karen (Gary) Bergen both of Waterloo; a special friend, Chris Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
