Sergio Galindo

Sergio Galindo, 56, of Waterloo, formerly of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at his home.

He was born June 27, 1967, in Los Angeles, son of George and Luz E. Hernandez Galindo. Sergio honorably served in the United States Marine Corps.

Sergio worked at VGM as the Senior Vice President of Diabetic and Facility Operations and Head of Fulfilment operations.

He was a member of Hope City Church in Waterloo. He enjoyed spending his time golfing, traveling, reading, and cooking.

Sergio is survived by his daughter, Athena Martinez of Torrance, CA; brother, Jorge R. Galindo of Simi Valley, CA; sister, Ruth Alvidres of Odessa, FL; and nephews, Andrew Salas, Vince Ace Alvidres, Malachi Alvidres, and Luke Alvidres. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Family Directed Services: 5:00 PM, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Hope City Church, 3712 Cedar Heights Dr, Cedar Falls.
