Gary Ivan Neessen

Gary Ivan Neessen, 80, of Waterloo, died at his home sometime prior to August 8, 2024. He was born on November 21, 1943, in Boca Raton, FL; the son of Laurence and Maureen Valentine Neessen. Gary graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1962 and worked in maintenance for John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works.

Gary loved watching sports, especially the Chicago Bears.

Gary is survived by his sisters, Carol (Jim) Brainerd of Bettendorf, Vicki (Mike) Tjepkes of Sartell, MN, and Debra Ammiano of Waterloo, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cynthia.

Memorial Service will be Monday, May 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Unity Presbyterian Church, 1149 Hammond Ave, Waterloo.
